Plumbing and Building Code Updates Charleston Water System is code-sensitive and requires the conformance of building and plumbing codes.	PDF
Thermal Expansion Information Charleston Water System has prepared a two-page document detailing how this condition is caused and how it can be eliminated or contained. Charleston Water System requires all new construction to conform to the current SBCCI Plumbing Code. Thermal Expansion protection was first required by these codes in 1994.	PDF
