If you are interested in doing business with Charleston Water System, please register with our Purchasing Department by submitting a Vendor Application Form (PDF fillable form) and a W-9 Form.

Upon receiving your application and W-9 Form, we will determine whether your company is qualified to be a reliable supplier and your company will be assigned a vendor number and placed on the bidder’s mailing list with an indication of the products or services you can provide.

Small Business Enterprise Certification

Charleston Water System, in conjunction with Charleston County, is committed to increasing opportunities for small businesses. On September 4, 2007, County Council unanimously passed an ordinance creating the Charleston County Small Business Enterprise Program, which is a race and gender neutral program.

Charleston Water System supports and encourages participation in the SBE Program. Small Business Enterprise Certifications are recognized by Charleston County, the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission, and Charleston Water System.

Our Environmental Policy

Charleston Water System has implemented an Environmental Management System Program (ISO 14000) committing to an Environmental Policy, the goal of which is to prevent pollution and continually improve the environment. We ask that your organization be aware of this policy and comply with the provisions as it relates to the products and services that your organization provides to Charleston Water System.
